Seasonal Camping

Long Term Seasonal Site Amenities include: daily garbage removal, central water taps, outhouse toilets, central septic dump, winter on-site storage, early and late season access, boat launch and fish filleting facility.

There are 59 long term seasonal camping sites at Mcbride Lake Campground. Many campers have enjoyed their spot for decades. As a result there is an ongoing wait list and you may not get a site for a few years, pending turn over and availability. We keep an ongoing wait list and each spring we are in contact to arrange new seasonal agreements.

We are limited by the number of people that decide to give up there site each year, which isn’t many! Please be patient and contact us to add your name to the wait list with the expectation it could be years before your opportunity comes up. Request to be added to the wait list by email.

Here is a campground map showing seasonal sites, nightly sites, the office and boat launch areas.

Each year the seasonal lease renewal will be emailed (mailed to those without email) by early March to confirm your renewal for the following season. Letting us know of your intent to vacate a site as early as possible is greatly appreciated as there is a long wait list of eager future campers wanting to get in.

Important Reminders to Seasonal Campers:

  • We provide wood sales for seasonal campers. This is dried and split wood available for $10 per large bucket. Inquire for larger quantities available.
  • Ice, Bait & Supplies are available at the office between 9am-8pm every day.
  • Garbage is picked up by 8 pm daily and fish filleting shack is cleaned daily at dark.
  • No docks or extended shoreline boat parking is allowed without current permits.
  • Never leave your fire going or your generator running unattended in your site. We are camping in a mature forest where fire risk varies, this is important for the safety of everyone.
  • Quiet time is 11pm-7am – no generators are allowed.
  • No Parking for more than 72hrs in public areas. Boat trailer storage is available.
  • ATV’s, Golf Carts, Dirt Bikes etc. are not allowed west of the creek and are not allowed at the boat launch.
  • Friends & Family Rate- we love that you want to share your campsite with friends & family. The special rate for this is $15 per night for additional camping units at your site.

The current rules and regulations are available here.

Porcupine Hills Provincial Park: Although we are a private campground, we do operate on a lease within the Porcupine Hills Provincial Park where a park pass is needed. Each vehicle should have a Park Pass displayed for the duration of their stay. As a private campground we will not have park passes available for purchase as we do not administer them. To purchase a Saskatchewan Parks Seasonal pass visit their site here.
